I spent about a year running an optic that was mounted too high. I had to tilt my head just to get a proper cheek weld and I did not realize how much it was affecting my shooting. I switched to a lower mount, and within minutes everything felt more natural, it was a simple fix that made a noticeable difference.

For a whole year, I ran my optic way too high, and I kept wondering why my neck was constantly aching. The moment I dropped it down to a lower 1/3, everything just clicked into place. I guess geometry really does matter more than we usually let on.

The best way to use a gun is when nobody even knows you have one. Last year, I saw trouble starting to brew so I just crossed the street and went home. There was no drawing, no drama, no paperwork and that's how you want it.
