Are you considering refreshing your current equipment with some maintenance or upgrades instead of buying new items? Share what you’re thinking!

This year, I'm keeping it to smaller upgrades and just refining the stuff I've already got instead of completely starting fresh.

I’m mostly doing upgrades instead of buying this year, a couple trigger upgrades are probably happening too.

I remember taking my carry piece apart on a rainy Sunday, swapping out tired sights and a worn trigger shoe then heading to the range feeling like I was starting fresh again.

I went with a new build- the 41 Great Lakes- about $1800 for the build-packs a ton of punch in a straight wall cartridge. I really like my Franchi 350 Legend, but I wanted something that could reach out there much further, and the 41 GL fits the bill here in IL.

That’s a good progression. Straight-wall cartridges are underrated for what they can do especially when you start stretching distances a bit more.
