What’s Your Bedroom Gun?

Hey everyone, I've been curious about what kind of firearms people keep near their beds at night. Do you have a dedicated home defense gun, or do you prefer something else? Let's talk about what's in our bedrooms and why!

A Ceracoted Taurus 605 in a holster mounted to a piece of stainless steel slid between the mattress and box spring. It used to be a blued Rossi 461, but there was a recall as they failed drop testing. Sent it in for them to repair it as the recall said they would and they said they weren't repairing them and as it wasn't safe would not return it. So they sent me the 605. I really liked the Rossi. 6 shot and the felt recoil wasn't bad for a 2" snub nosed .357. The 605 is ugly compared to the nice deep blue the Rossi had. The 605 is also a 5-shot and with .357 loads, it borders on painful to shoot. That's why it is relegated to bedside use only and not as a CCW gun.

I have two Springfield Armory MOD-2 Grip Zone.
One is a five inch Tactical for nightstand and a MOD-2 compact as EDC, both controls are exactly the same so if something goes bump in the night all the controls feel the same no thinking about which firearm is in hand.

Two in an easy to open safe right next to the bed. An S&W M&P full sized 9mm with streamlight attached. And a S&W M60 2 1/8" .357 revolver. Used to not have the safe, but have grandkids now so....
