I'm looking for a reliable scope for deer hunting that won't break the bank. Does anyone have experience with budget options under $300 that hold zero and have good light transmission? Would love to hear what you’ve had success with.

i recommend leupold, i have 3, onlybissue ive ever had was when i dropped my shotgun climbing down from a tree, scope was messed up internally, leupold fixed it for free!

I use a Tru-dot 3-9x40.Cheap and reliable.Its served me well for years for whitetail.

Leupolds are what are on most my guns now. Have a handful of vortex sitting on the bench. I liked the vortex at first but the lowenders, if you will, didn't fit my requirements. buy once cry once.
