What's your top choice for a carry revolver and what makes it stand out for you? I'd love to hear from those of you who carry revolvers every day about what you find to be the most effective in practical situations.

I had to have some hand surgery last December that left me unable to work the slide on my autoloader. I picked up a Taurus 856 ultralite. I find it light weight, easy to carry in or outside the waistband. It's very accurate, although I do recommend swapping the OEM frnt sight for a fluorescent ring nightsight. With practice, I was able to take hanging clays easily at 5 yards. And it carries a full 6 round cylinder. Just my experience, for what it's worth.

I also like 32 H&R Mag, and carry a 432PD, Lightweight. It is only 13 oz (unloaded) and about 16 oz loaded. My effective range with this is in the 10-15 yard range. It is too light and small for precision work. Hornady XTP with my load at about 1200 fps.

Currently, this one. But it changes from day to day.

I really like a 3" K-frame, and have four of them. But the reality is I typically have an M442 with 148gr WCs or M60 2 1/8" with 158gr +P SWHPs when carrying. I do have a holster ordered for my 3953. That has a DAO very revolver like trigger and I shoot very well with it.
