Confused between bipod or tripod

I've been using a Harris bipod for quite a while now, but I'm starting to think it might be time to make the switch to a tripod setup. I’m curious if anyone here has experience with tripods for long-range shooting? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I made that switch myself, and it really changed the game for me when it comes to long-range shooting. I’ve always found Harris bipods to be pretty solid, especially when I’m shooting prone or need something portable. But once I started using a tripod with a ball head and a solid saddle, everything just clicked. The stability and flexibility I got were on a whole different level. I could shoot from seated, kneeling, or even standing if I had to, and adjusting for the terrain was way easier.

I’d definitely check out tripods that have a leveling head or a ball head, plus a sturdy saddle mount. You can't go wrong with brands like Two Vets, Leofoto, or Really Right Stuff. It might hit your wallet a bit hard, but if precision is what you’re after, it’s an investment that totally pays off.
