I’m starting to get into pistols and I want to keep my gear secure. What type of handgun safe should I be looking at? Any ideas?

I suggest you find something that’s easy to use, reliable and opens quickly. You don’t have to spend a ton of money but you definitely want something that won’t fail you when it counts.

Any chance you will want to get a rifle (or 10)? I recommend getting one that will hold several times what you think you want. I originally bought a 14 gun rifle safe. Now I have two 14 gun rifle safes and when I move to Texas, I will buy a 30+ gun safe and keep the two smaller ones as well.
