I’m a casual reader of a UK shooting forum. I have discovered that most forum participants seem restrained in their conversations. The only chord of discontent has been a small undercurrent of anti-American sentiment voiced by very few. And then I saw a post by one correspondent that warned his fellow UK shooters against speaking their mind. He warned that their government monitors what is said and what they say could affect their firearms licenses. Apparently some UK citizens have been arrested for what they’ve said online.
This made me think of Illinois. Is this what we’ve become? Are we afraid to speak on this or any other forum? I certainly hope not. If the state government wants to think of me as a though criminal then so be it.
