Thoughts on AmmoSeek.com for Finding Ammo

I've used AmmoSeek.com a few times when I was hunting for .223 Remington and some 9mm for range days. It was pretty convenient to have a site that aggregates prices from various retailers all in one place, which saved me some time comparing costs. Generally, the listings I found were accurate, but I always double-check the retailer's reputation before pulling the trigger, so to speak. I did run into a couple of sellers that seemed a bit sketchy and had unusual policies, so I’d advise sticking with well-known retailers whenever possible. Overall, it's a solid tool, just proceed with a bit of caution and do your homework on the sellers!
 
I’ve used AmmoSeek in the past. After a while I settled on one company for bulk orders because of low prices and widely varying shipping costs from company to company. I use SGAmmo in OK. They ship fast and shipping is free on orders over $200. They are currently pushing Ammo Inc stuff. Seems WW bought Ammo Inc and SG bought a lot of the product.
 
Really be careful with Ammoseek. I use them, but got burned once purchasing a box of shotgun shells for my neighbor (can't remember the merchant, was a few years ago). Make sure they provide a physical address and phone number on the website for contacting purposes-absolute must. Generally, I stick with the well-known suppliers if possible- Natchess, MidwayUsa, Midsouth, Brownells, Grafs, Optics Planet. I have purchased some difficult to find items from lesser-known merchants but I do a search on them to find out if they are reputable.
 
I just ordered from Natchez. Slower than chit. It's been a week and it hasn't left the warehouse yet. PS-I've bought from them before and I Don't remember waiting like this.
 
I've used Ammoseek many times. I've never had a problem. Rocketfire on the other hand is probably the worst when it comes to communication, expediency and service. I placed an order on 6/11/25 for 500 rounds of .223 Remington and it is now 9/20/25 and I still have not received my ammo. Their claim to fame is purportedly the best ammo ever, they send extra ammo along with the order but don't be in a hurry for it. They take several days to respond to inquiries and always have an excuse for why my ammo hasn't been shipped. I finally sent them an ultimatum, either send me the ammo or send me a refund by the end of next week. I don't expect that I'll be getting any ammo but hopefully I'll get my refund without too much hassle.

No problems with mine though.... I guess it really depends
