I think something in the front lockup area or crane alignment has shifted just enough to create issues. Even a tiny bit of movement can make the cylinder feel like it’s getting stuck when you try to close it. Check if anything seems out of alignment or loose. For me, I’d have a qualified gunsmith or Taurus check it out. Revolvers don’t leave much room for error when something’s off and forcing it closed can quickly make things worse.
