I came across an Ed Brown 1911 at my local shop, and it’s been on my mind ever since. Before I make a move with my wallet, I thought I’d ask some owners if they think it’s worth the splurge.

Totally get where you're coming from! If I just walk away from this, I know I’ll be regretting it every time it crosses my mind. It’s not something I absolutely need but it’s one of those rare finds that you don’t come across every day, and the quality really caught my eye. I’m still doing the responsible math, but your comment really struck a chord with me.
