I'm looking for a reliable scope for deer hunting that won't break the bank. Does anyone have experience with budget options under $300 that hold zero and have good light transmission? Would love to hear what you've had success with.

Yes Burris Fullfield line or Leopold VX Freedom can both be found for under $300 if you search.

i recommend leupold, i have 3, onlybissue ive ever had was when i dropped my shotgun climbing down from a tree, scope was messed up internally, leupold fixed it for free!

I use a Tru-dot 3-9x40.Cheap and reliable.Its served me well for years for whitetail.

Leupolds are what are on most my guns now. Have a handful of vortex sitting on the bench. I liked the vortex at first but the lowenders, if you will, didn't fit my requirements. buy once cry once.
