The best place to find authentic 6" metal pistols is definitely in the scene of 1911 long slides. I've tried out a few Fusion and Springfield long slides throughout the years, and they feel like pure steel. If you're looking for that classic all-metal experience with a longer sight radius, I really think that's where the top options are.
