Bench Time: .308 Load Workup Progress

I've been fine-tuning my .308 loads and just finished a batch of new handloads. Trying to find the sweet spot between accuracy and velocity. What are others using for powder in this caliber? Would love to see your load data!

Man, I've been tinkering with my .308 too, trying to dial it in. I have been running Varget mostly, it gets me decent groups. What kinda bullets you throwing with your loads, bud?

If you're looking to squeeze out a bit more speed, Reloder 15 could be a solid choice. Just keep in mind, you might need to tune with it a bit to really nail down that accuracy. It all comes down to your rifle setup and the weight of the bullets you're using.

I’ve noticed that my .308 performs best with mid-range powder charges. Every time I try to go for max velocity, the groups tend to fall apart. Now, I’m all about tuning my loads based on how the rifle feels instead of just fixating on the FPS numbers.
