I’m 42 and have retired from my job on the railroad, but my love for hunting and shooting goes way back to when I was just a little kid. My papaw had a small farm outside of Marion, and we’d hunt all sorts of game. Some of my best memories are those cold November mornings spent in a deer stand with my dad. Down here in southern Illinois, we’re a bit removed from the Chicago political scene, but we still have to follow the same state regulations. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned over the years and maybe swap some hunting stories with others. Happy to be here!
