There's a Kane County show coming up in a couple of weeks. I haven't been to that gun show in years. Question is is it worth going to anymore? I'm not looking for jerky, Christmas ornaments, black guns, Glocks, or 14" long Made in India knives. I'm mainly interested in reloading supplies and browsing junk tables. So anyway would it be worth an hours drive to go through it?

I don't bother with Illinois gun shows anymore. Last one had less than 20 guns in the whole venue. Nothing but knives and other such like crap.

I've always heard the Kane County show was good, but I've never been. Used to go to the McHenry County show and compared to many it was just too small. However, there were consistently three, sometimes more, quality sellers and I made some decent purchases. As far as I know, that show has been discontinued since Covid. Sad, cuz I miss going.
I used to go to all the shows years ago. Sadly there's not many.left. Lake County used to be great along with Wheaton. Even Cook County had a show. Kankakee and Princeton are still around but nothing like they used to be. I'll probably take the ride to Kane County just to see if it's any good anymore. Since I'm not expecting much it won't surprise me if it's crap.
